The cover measures 63" wide by 45.7" tall (160 × 116 cm). That covers the windshield and wipers on most sedans, SUVs, minivans and small pickups. Before you order, measure your windshield across its widest point and from top to bottom. Full-size trucks and large vans have bigger glass, so measure those twice.

It's held three ways. The two side wings tuck inside the front doors, so closing the doors locks the cover in place. Nine built-in magnets hold the top and bottom edges, and two elastic straps with hooks anchor the bottom corners. On very windy nights, make sure both wings are fully inside the door frame before you shut the doors.

The magnets are sewn inside the fabric, so nothing hard touches the car. Lay the cover on clean, dry paint and lift it off rather than dragging it across the hood. Grit trapped under any cover is what scratches, not the cover itself.

Yes. The same silver quilted face that keeps snow off in January sits over the glass as a sun shade in July. It also keeps leaves, sap and dust off the windshield in fall.
